This weekend, May 19-21, 2017, Point Pleasant Beach hosts the very exciting powerboat offshore Grand Prix, with the main race on Sunday at 1:45pm. We spoke to one of the favorites, Serafino Cazanni who’s the throttle man of Alex and Ani, about his rivalry with Miss Geico Racing, his plans for the weekend, and what his job is once the race starts.

On September 27, 2014, Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, NJ will host The Zombie Mud Run, a post-apocalyptic 5K obstacle race along the beach and piers. Combining both natural and manmade hurdles, the course will take participants through the ocean, under the boardwalk to the deep, dark, recesses of the unknown, and down Morey’s Piers’ famed 60 feet tall six-lane water slide.
The Iron Girl sprint triathlon returns for the 2nd year to Sandy Hook on September 7, 2014. The women-only race includes a 1/3 mile swim, 15 mile bike and 3 mile run.
Jersey Shore events on the June 7-8 weekend include the Asbury Park Blues &Brews Festival, Point Pleasant Summerfest, Privateers & Pirates at the Tuckerton Seaport, Trace Adkins in AC and the Escape the Cape Triathlon. Starting February 21, Morey’s Piers invites runners of The Wild Half Marathon to train together with a customized 12-week social media training program.
