The Ocean Resorts Casino in Atlantic City hosted Gameacon 2018 for the first time, after a few years at another AC resort. Between October 19-21 Gameacon attracted to the Jersey Shore a mix of gaming enthusiasts, indie developers, vendors, interactive game providers and more! The convention floor was shared by four different attractions: The gaming “arena”, the VR games, the indie developers and the vendors.
Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ will debut its biggest and scariest Fright Fest in park history in 2018. The Northeast’s Largest Halloween party runs weekends and select days September 15 through October 31 featuring more than 25 Halloween-themed shows and attractions, including the terrifying Hell Fest maze, newly-themed haunted houses, a heart-pounding new show, and the 20th season of the iconic, live, stage spectacular – Dead Man’s Party.
This fall Oktoberfest takes over Morey’s Piers in Wildwood with three consecutive weekends of German-themed revelry, live entertainment, a kids “Rootbier Garten” activity area and much more. On Friday, September 21, 2018 at 5:00pm the annual festivities kick-off with a ceremonial keg tapping of Warsteiner beer, live entertainment from Late Last Night, and the Morey family clad in lederhosen. Special guest Helmut Fricker, a German yodeler and alphorn player, will also be joining the opening weekend festivities.

Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks located on the boardwalk of the Wildwoods, NJ is debuting two new family-friendly events to its summer-long calendar. First up is the new Arts & Music Festival premiering over Father’s Day weekend on Adventure Pier from Saturday, June 17 through Sunday, June 18, 2017.
This weekend, May 19-21, 2017, Point Pleasant Beach hosts the very exciting powerboat offshore Grand Prix, with the main race on Sunday at 1:45pm. We spoke to one of the favorites, Serafino Cazanni who’s the throttle man of Alex and Ani, about his rivalry with Miss Geico Racing, his plans for the weekend, and what his job is once the race starts.
