Six Flags to Debut First-of-its-Kind Thrill Ride at Great Adventure in 2018

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ, in partnership with Warner Bros, on behalf of DC Entertainment, announced that it will premiere the world’s first thrill ride themed to the DC Super Hero CYBORG in 2018. Inspired by the movement of a gyroscope, CYBORG Cyber Spin will deliver an unrelenting and intense anti-gravity experience as it whirls guests on three axes high above the ground.

Six Flags to Attempt to Break the Mistletoe Kiss World Record

Love is in the air as Six Flags will attempt to break the Guinness World Records title for most couples kissing under the mistletoe. This national event across seven Six Flags theme parks will take place December 10, 2016 at 5 pm ET. Guests can participate locally at Six Flags Great Adventure’s second-annual Holiday in the Park, which is currently running weekends and select days through Jan. 2, 2017.

Six Flags to Launch World’s First Interactive Gaming Coaster this Fright Fest

At Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ, riders will use Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus headsets to battle demonic creatures in Rage of the Gargoyles, a fully-integrated Virtual Reality (VR) coaster experience. This highly-anticipated, totally immersive adventure will debut on Skull Mountain, the park’s indoor, in-the-dark coaster, during Fright Fest beginning September 24.
