Jersey Bayshore Open For Business Ribbon Cutting

The Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will do an official 2014 Jersey Bayshore Open For Business ribbon cutting on May 16 from 10am, near the Keyport IHOP on Route 36

Join the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce on May 16 at 10:00am at the Keyport IHOP, 106 Route 36, Keyport, as we come together as Neighbors, Businesses, Government Leaders, Clergy, Politicians and the Press for the official 2014 Jersey Bayshore Open For Business Ribbon Cutting taking place on Route 36 right off GSP Exit 117, better known as the “Gateway to the Jersey Shore.”

This event is being hosted by the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce in partnership with:

  • The Jersey Convention and Visitors Bureau
  • Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative
  • Hazlet Business Owners Association
  • Highlands Business Partnership

Jersey Shore Open for Business Ribbon CuttingOur coming together for this ribbon cutting is the kick-off to an anticipated banner year for the Bayshore and the Jersey Shore community. Come out and join us as we collaboratively announce to the world that the Jersey Bayshore, along with the Jersey Shore, is open for business.

Cliff Moore, President Emeritus of the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce and Co-Chair of the Hazlet Business Owners Association Economic Development Committee states, “As a member of the Boards of the Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative, the Hazlet Business Owners Association, the Jersey Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, I see the opportunity for everyone to synergistically use their resources and connections to promote the Bayshore as the Gateway to the Jersey Shore. I think with all of the promoting of boardwalks and beaches further south, people don’t even consider the Bayshore and all it has to offer for family recreation. The beaches, marinas, parks and all the events the Bayshore Communities do during the summer months have not been promoted or marketed fictively up until now because they worked independently. This year we are looking for partnerships that will benefit the small businesses and families in the 10 small Bayshore towns.”

Sebastian Ferrantell, President of the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce states “The Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce looks forward to joining the local communities to celebrate our Back In Business Ribbon Cutting.” Ted Koczon, President of the Hazlet Business Owners Association comments, “We are dedicated to work as partners with the local organizations and communities to promote the Bayshore area; this ribbon cutting event promotes this commitment.”

This is a free-to-attend event. Light fare will be provided by the Keyport IHOP at the conclusion of the ribbon cutting.

The Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce is a valued resource for businesses and the community. The Chamber fosters growth for its members by providing information, facilitating business education, encouraging collaboration and sponsoring networking opportunities.
