Jughandle Brewing Opens in Tinton Falls on June 18

Owners Pete Artherholt and Mike Skudera of Tinton Falls and Chris Hanigan of Red Bank are ready to open the doors of Jughandle Brewing Company to the public for tours and tastings. The craft brewery, which is located at 4057 Asbury Avenue in the Tinton Falls Centre Plaza, will be open Saturday June 18th from 12 to 8 p.m. and Sunday June 19th from 12 to 8 p.m.

Tinton Falls’ First Brewery Sets Grand Opening Day

Owners Pete Artherholt and Mike Skudera of Tinton Falls and Chris Hanigan of Red Bank are ready to open the doors of Jughandle Brewing Company to the public for tours and tastings. The craft brewery, which is located at 4057 Asbury Avenue in the Tinton Falls Centre Plaza, will be open Saturday June 18^th from 12 to 8 p.m. and Sunday June 19^th from 12 to 8 p.m. Regular hours will be then established.

Jughandle Brewery Tinton Falls Opening Visitors to the brewery may tour the facility and see how craft beer is made. Flights may be purchased and tasted on-site for $6, which includes four, 4 oz samples of beer. Additional samples and regular pints of beer are available. Jughandle also sells and fills Growlers (32 or 64 ounces of beer).

Jughandle Brewing is one of the first in New Jersey to purchase a Crowler, which is a 32 oz. can that is filled with craft beer and sealed on-site. It stays fresh for over a month and is great in places that don’t allow glass containers.

The opening list of beers include an IPA, RyePA, Saison, Hefeweizen, Imperial Stout and an English Bitter with additional styles in the works and available in the near future.

NJ breweries are not permitted to sell food; however Jughandle Brewing is in a plaza that has pizza, sandwiches, Chinese and Mexican foods and even a bakery, so visitors will not go hungry.

Jughandle Brewing Company is conveniently located a half-mile from Parkway exit 102 and just minutes from the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets and will be able to produce up to 4,000 barrels (31 gallons per barrel) of high-quality craft beer annually.
