The New Year Resolution Business Networking and Red Carpet Event, organized by Jersey Shore Premiere Events, took place on February 4th at Coach’s Restaurant in Oakhurst. The event was hosted by Rosa Davis and Chris Fotache and attended by almost 180 guests, mostly local small business owners. The goal was to bring local entrepreneurs together, in order to strengthen the business community and kickstart their resolutions for 2014.
Part of the proceeds, as well as the toy drive, benefited the Ashley Lauren Foundation, a Colts Neck-based charity whose mission is to provide hope and help to children in NJ with cancer through financial, material, and emotional support. Monica Vermeulen, founder of the organization, said: “We are so appreciative of Chris Fotache, Rosa Davis and everyone in attendance for their amazing support of our mission of assisting children suffering from cancer.”
Involved in planning and organizing the event were sponsors ShoreVacations.com, Eco Awnings and Van Nortwick Properties, Christopher Bossio Photography, Tru Colors Cinematography and Instinctive DJs. The Jersey Shore Premiere Calendar, featuring 12 local businesses and 12 local models, was also released. Red carpet host was Bert Baron, from WCTC 1450AM’s morning show.
