Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ plans for more roller coaster thrills and Halloween scares in 2015. The 510-acre theme park debuts the park’s thirteenth roller coaster — Looping Dragon, and expands its notoriously scary Fright Fest Halloween festival.
On September 27, 2014, Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, NJ will host The Zombie Mud Run, a post-apocalyptic 5K obstacle race along the beach and piers. Combining both natural and manmade hurdles, the course will take participants through the ocean, under the boardwalk to the deep, dark, recesses of the unknown, and down Morey’s Piers’ famed 60 feet tall six-lane water slide.
