Red Bank Restaurants, Ocean Place in Long Branch Rally to Support Sea Bright In Wake of Hurricane Sandy
The culinary alliance Red Bank Flavour today announced its support of Sea Bright Rising, a non-profit organization established in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy to support the general recovery of Sea Bright, NJ at its BIG Beach Bash fundraiser event. Slated for Saturday, December 15 at Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch, NJ, 14 of Red Bank’s restaurants and eateries will provide culinary samplings during what is expected to be an incredible evening in support of the Sea Bright community. All proceeds from this event will benefit the residents and business owners of Sea Bright in their recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Hosted in the Ocean Place‘s beautiful ballroom overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the BIG Beach Bash will invite guests to sample an array of local cuisine and sip on flavourful cocktails and craft beer. Participating Red Bank eateries include Sugarush a Sweet Experience, The Melting Pot, Taste, Dish, Pazzo, The Bistro at Red Bank, Red Bank Chocolate Shoppe, Readie’s, Danny’s Grill and Wine Bar, Teak, Gaetano’s, The Cheese Cave, Jamian’s, and the Cupcake Magician. McLoone’s Restaurants, Sea Bright’s own Woody’s, Rumson’s Molly Maguire’s and The Flaky Tart in Atlantic Highlands will also provide food for the event. The Lusty Lobster in Highlands, Mix Lounge and Food Bar in Long Branch, Grape Beginnings in Eatontown and the Little Silver Bottle Shop round out the evening’s benefactors. In addition to tastings from local restaurants, the night will be filled with live music, dancing and several fun surprises. Attendees are encouraged to wear casual beach-inspired attire to this event.
Sea Bright Rising was founded by local residents in an effort to help neighbors that were displaced or in need of help after Hurricane Sandy. The non-profit is devoted to helping Sea Bright with the daunting task of rebuilding their lives and community.
The BIG Beach Bash fundraiser will take place from 6:00 to 10:00 pm on Saturday, December 15. While the $75 ticket level has sold out, sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500-$10,000 remain. In addition to food donations, the Ocean Place Conference Center has graciously donated the venue, tables, linens and staff for the fundraising event.
